Leah Brown Johnson is the owner of Be Equipped, LLC and a multi talented individual. She has over eighteen years experience in higher education, career services, human resources and non profit management. She is a published author, public speaker and entrepreneur. Leah started a non profit organization that has been in existence for seventeen years serving the populations in need in Westchester County and the Northern Bronx, NY. She also launched and was the Founding Executive Director for the first New Jersey urban squash, after-school program in Newark. Leah travels worldwide speaking to various companies and organizations, providing seminars, workshops and trainings in a variety of topics from “Company Culture” to “Starting A Non Profit”. She facilitates mobile youth programs in sundry youth organizations. Pulling on her twelve years experience in youth development and after-school education for 11‐18 year olds, she collaborates with other organizations to provide their constituents with consistent, quality educational programming.
